The symposium is Wednesday, March 16th, at the Illini Ballroom at the I-Hotel Conference Center from 3-6 p.m. The symposium is open to the public who may register by clicking here.
From the UIUC website: The features posters and displays by faculty, staff and students from campus and partners from the community on community-based projects as part of research, teaching and service at the University of Illinois. The theme for 2016 symposium is Building bridges between campus and community. The symposium provides ground for sharing and celebrating the scholarly works of a community that is engaged in addressing and solving challenges facing the society through mutually-beneficial partnership. The event hopes to promote culture of engagement across campus by bringing together a large variety of ideas and approaches to community-engaged projects."
