Eye Clinic
The Eye Clinic offers students interested in ophthalmology an opportunity to familiarize themselves with common conditions in a clinic setting. Clinic volunteers are responsible for obtaining health histories, presenting cases to the provider, and documenting visits in the patient’s medical record. Volunteering provides an avenue for future students interested in opthamology a way to give back to the community doing something they are passionate about.

Bhargavee Gnanasambandam Eye Clinic Director & Founder
Bhargavee is a 3rd year medical student at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. Bhargavee founded the clinic in September 2013 and currently serves as director of the eye clinic. She did her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in biomedical engineering at Case Western Reserve University. She is passionate about vision and supporting her community.
