Avicenna has recently become a member of the Council of Service Providers to the Homeless, CSPH, a local organization that works to provide quality community care to individuals who are homeless in the Champaign-Urbana area. Avicenna has joined this council to work with other local agencies to provide quality healthcare to this population. CSPH convenes monthly to discuss the needs of the variety of agencies, provide support across agency lines, and to work together to help the homeless population. Together this council unites a number of organizations in helping the local homeless.
