Last week our very own Dr. Shamim Sadiq was presented the Physician Champion Award by the Champaign Medical Society for her work at Avicenna. Dr. Sadiq is current our Medical Director, attends board meetings, helps to organize and volunteer at fundraising events and volunteers as a physician at the clinic. She is a constant flow of positivity to staff and love and caring to our patients. We are so proud of her and thankful that she is willing to volunteer her time.
